The doctor support for our mother was outstanding from the referral to the hospital team and admission to St. Lukes, kind, caring. Always helpful and warm. A special thanks to your catering person who always offered tea.

Every single member of staff were amazing, it made dad's passing a lot easier for us all. We were kept updated and felt involved during every stage of his illness. No words could describe our thanks and gratitude for the care dad received.

The staff from cleaning staff to consultants were all superb there was nothing they couldn't do to help. St. Lukes should be proud of everything.

Review of St Lukes Turnchapel - Inpatient Team

We will be forever grateful that Sharons wishes were carried out by all of the staff at St Lukes. Sharon chose St Lukes as the place she wanted to die, because she did not want her family worrying about her end of life care. Sharon wanted her family to be with her without the worry of trying to manage her pain and comfort! St Lukes enabled us, as a family to do just that.... to be with her. Sharon was in control of how she wanted to die. She died in comfort and with dignity. A special thanks to Dr Emily (St Lukes, Derriford Hospital) & the MDT for making Sharons transfer from Derriford Hospital to St Lukes happen! The hospice is exactly where she wanted and needed to be. And thank you to 'all' the staff involved in caring for Sharons wants and needs in her final 12 days of life. You are 'all' Angels!
